The MBHS Chamber Choir was invited by the Maryland Historical Society to sing at the special dedication of a new marker/sign for the Underground Railroad at the Jesup Blair Park in Silver Spring. Harriet Tubman smiled down on us as we sing one of her "signal" songs, 'Steal Away'. We were joined by the Kennedy High School Color Guard and local officials at the dedication on this famous road to freedom. Here are some pictures of the event.
